Bananas
Ok, this one has got a bit of a story so bear with me. Lived in ‘Āina Haina (a community in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi) for a part of my life right on the bank of Wailupe stream. I used to hike up the stream into the rain forest as a kid. There is a 15 foot waterfall one must climb to continue the hike but it is quite worth it. On a trip back home as a much older adult I decided to hike that trail again. This time with my camera. I came to the waterfall, made the climb, no problem. At the top I found this Banana plant with a beautiful banana flower. I took a bunch of shots and decided to take the bananas back with me. Proceeded to climb back down the waterfall and fell instead. Only about 10 feet. Landed on the bananas. Saved my butt, lost the bananas. Damn! CMYK random dot.
