This continuous tone serigraph was originally shot on B/W 35mm film. In the darkroom I made 25 orthochromatic film transparencies at various exposure values from very overexposed to under exposed. Adding more and more black pigment to transparent base as I went along to achieve the density I needed without dots. It’s complicated and challenging. This is how I print other photographers limited edition serigraphs.
